Nadezhda Beresneva, 56 years old, works at the V. Lenin school in the village of Hydrostroitel in the Issyk-Ata district of Chui region.

She was born on January 1, 1969, in Tokmok. She has a higher education, is married, and raises an adult son. Nadezhda has been working in the educational field for 33 years, of which she spent 20 years as a social educator and the chairperson of the trade union at her school.

“During my work as a social educator, I encountered many problems related to difficult families and teenagers. My goal was to help these children change their lives for the better by communicating with them individually and discussing their issues with their parents,” she shared.

Since September, Beresneva has passed her responsibilities to a young specialist while remaining a mentor and a primary school teacher.

Nadezhda was inspired to choose the teaching profession by her mother, who will celebrate her 90th birthday in May, and her first teacher. She remembers how all the students were thrilled by the lessons of her first teacher, which made her choice easy.

Nadezhda studied at the same school where she currently works, which was once an eight-year school, and graduated from the 8th grade in 1984. She then entered the Przhevalsk Pedagogical College, where she studied on an increased scholarship. In 2009, she completed her studies at the Kyrgyz Academy of Education (KAE).

“Right after college, I returned to my native school and continue to work here. I work in a wonderful team under the leadership of the director Z. Mukharova and the deputy director Ch. Duyshieva,” she noted.

There were no difficulties at the beginning of her career, as Nadezhda has always been hardworking and attentive to the administration's remarks.

Nadezhda is proud of her graduates, many of whom have successfully completed higher education, including abroad.

“Some of my students have chosen the path of primary school teachers and come to me for practice. I love my profession very much and strive to pass on my knowledge to children, instilling in them an interest in learning, with the hope of seeing them as patriots of Kyrgyzstan,” she says.

Recently, a touching incident occurred: one of her second-grade students, seeing her home after lessons, asked, “Can I kiss you?”. At first, Nadezhda was shocked, but then she hugged the child and replied that she loved him too.

Nadezhda's husband is retired.

“I am impressed by the opportunity to conduct open lessons, where every teacher can share their experience, teach something new to young teachers, and take something interesting for themselves,” she added.
Among her awards are the title of an education excellence awardee, an excellence awardee of the trade union movement, a letter of gratitude from the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Kyrgyzstan N.T. Shakiev, and a gratitude from the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the year 2012.
