A man has been detained in Tokmok, accused of committing acts of domestic violence. This was reported by the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Chui region.
A woman named I.A., born in 1976, contacted the police requesting action against her son, born in 1992, citizen I.S.
In October 2025, while in a state of alcoholic intoxication, the son, in his home, began to threaten his mother and ultimately inflicted bodily harm on her, resulting in a fracture of her left arm.
According to the results of the forensic medical examination, the victim was found to have sustained minor bodily harm.
In connection with this incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 177 (Domestic Violence) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. The suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation is ongoing.
