In Tokmok, officers from the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region detained a man who beat his mother. The incident became known after a 47-year-old woman, I.A., reported her son, 31-year-old I.S., to the local police station.
According to law enforcement agencies, the incident occurred in October 2025, when I.S. was in a state of alcohol intoxication. He insulted his mother with foul language and, during the conflict, inflicted bodily harm on her, resulting in the woman suffering a fracture of her left arm.
According to the conclusion of the forensic medical examination, I.A.'s health was harmed, but the severity of the injury was deemed less serious.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident under Article 177 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning domestic violence.
I.S. was detained in accordance with the provisions of Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and placed in a temporary detention facility.
Further investigation is underway.
