In the village of Ak-Bulak, located in the Ak-Suu district of the Issyk-Kul region, a ceremonial opening of a children's ski school took place, which will become an important center for the development of alpine skiing and support for young athletes. This was reported by the government press service.
At the opening ceremony, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Edil Baisalov, was present, who noted the significance of this project in his speech. He emphasized that the establishment of the ski school is an important step for preparing youth and promoting an active lifestyle, as well as for training personnel for winter sports.
“This new ski school will play a key role in training future athletes and professional instructors, who are in demand at the growing ski resorts in the country. This is an investment in human capital and the creation of jobs for youth, which will contribute to the sustainable development of the regions,” added Edil Baisalov.

During the visit, a meeting was also held with participants from children's and youth sports schools, coaches, and relevant specialists. The participants discussed issues related to material and technical support, training of coaching staff, and engaging youth in sports.
As a result of the meeting, key directions for further work were identified, including the modernization of sports infrastructure, support for coaches, and the expansion of the network of children's and youth sports schools in the regions.
Thus, the children's ski school in Ak-Bulak is seen as an important element in creating an effective system for training athletes and developing winter sports in the Issyk-Kul region.
