In Kyrgyzstan, the successes of non-Olympic sports in 2025 were celebrated


An official event was held in Kyrgyzstan, organized by the Directorate for Non-Olympic Sports under the State Agency for Sports. This event was dedicated to summarizing the results of the work for the year 2025.

Present at the ceremony were Emil Zayarko, the director of the Directorate, as well as representatives of sports federations and athletes who achieved significant success in non-Olympic disciplines over the past year.

During the event, the main results of the work were summarized: a noticeable increase in interest in non-Olympic sports, active participation of Kyrgyz athletes in international competitions, as well as successful organization of national tournaments and championships were highlighted.

Federations that closely collaborated with the Directorate and made a significant contribution to the development of non-Olympic sports were awarded commemorative statuettes and letters of appreciation. Special attention was given to the federations of sambo, karate, kulatuu, and other areas where Kyrgyz athletes achieved international success.

Emil Zayarko emphasized that the importance of systematic work with federations and athletes cannot be underestimated. He noted that the development of non-Olympic sports contributes to strengthening the sports infrastructure of the country and preparing new generations of athletes for international competitions.
