The Turmush publication continues its series of articles "Zheneke," where we share the life stories of young brides and experienced daughters-in-law.

The project's goal is to emphasize the importance of family values and showcase the talents of married women.

Zharkynai Alymova, a teacher in the town of Orlovka in the Kemin district of the Chui region, was born in 1997 in Bishkek and spent her childhood in the Issyk-Kul region.

In an interview with a Turmush correspondent, she shared that she met her future husband at her cousin's wedding. She got married at the age of 22.

Zharkynai cannot recall many interesting events from the early years of her marriage. "My new family is quite serious and reserved. My jokes were not always taken seriously. In Issyk-Kul, girls bow to their elders, but this is not as common in the Chui region. I remember how, at the beginning of my new life, I bowed to everyone I knew, and they looked at me in surprise. I felt awkward. Now I just say hello," she says.

Zharkynai was born in the village of Ak-Terek and studied at a local school until the 7th grade, finishing the 11th grade in Bishkek. "I spent my childhood on the shores of Issyk-Kul with my grandmother. After finishing school, I decided to study journalism. My grandmother, being a teacher, assured me of the importance of this profession and supported me. I enrolled in the Faculty of Philology at the Kyrgyz National University named after J. Balasagyn and then continued my studies in graduate school," she added.

During her studies, she was interested in journalism and sought employment opportunities, interning at television channels in pursuit of her dream of becoming a journalist.

After getting married, Zharkynai moved to Orlovka, where in five years of marriage she gained important experience and became a mother to two daughters. The elder, Ajar, is 4 years old, and the younger, Daria, is 2.5 years old. "I got a job as a teacher at School No. 1 in Orlovka, where I have been working for a year. Initially, I doubted that I would become a teacher, but soon I realized that I enjoy it. Working with children is rewarding, and I study their psychology. It is a very convenient job for women with children, as everything follows a schedule. However, it requires great responsibility and constant development," she shared.

One of the happiest moments in Zharkynai's life was the birth of her daughters. "It is a great joy. I have no regrets; everything happens by the will of the Almighty. I try to spend more time with my daughters, as they require attention. The first months of work were challenging, but with the support of my husband and colleagues, I managed. My goal is to improve the quality of education and develop the Kyrgyz language, as there are many Russian speakers in Orlovka. It is important to create interesting methods for learning the Kyrgyz language," she noted.
