The regional news publication Turmush continues the column "Жеңеке," where we share stories about the lives of young brides and experienced daughters-in-law.

The project aims to highlight the importance of family values and showcase the talents of married women. Alina, who is in love with Russia, became the head of the library on the recommendation of her father-in-law.

Alina Azimova, the head of Library No. 1 in the village of Budenovka in the Kochkorbaev district, met her future husband in Russia, after which they started a family.

Alina was born in 1992 in the village of Madaniyat, located in the Bakai-Ata district of the Talas region. "When I was little, we moved to Bishkek, where I spent my childhood. There are three children in our family: I am the eldest, and I have a brother and a sister. My father passed away when I was 16. He worked in the police and later ran a business. My mother is a teacher, but she now works in Russia and runs her own business. She raised us alone and provided us with a good education. I finished school abroad — that’s how circumstances turned out. My brother and sister are also with her now. The upbringing I received was very worthy thanks to my mother's love," she shares.

By profession, Alina is an economist-accountant, but she has been working in the library for 11 years. "Books have always been my passion. I spent my summer vacations at my grandfather's house, where he made us read his books. This instilled in me a love for reading. My mother had her own library at home, and I hoped that by reading all the books, I would become as smart as she is. My husband and I met in Russia in 2013 and got married a year later. He is a lawyer and is now engaged in entrepreneurship. To me, he is the best husband and a caring father. We have four children: three daughters and a son. My advice to the young is: the main thing is to trust each other and maintain respect. Many are afraid to live with their parents, but I believe it is beneficial. Parents are a true school of life, and a lot of knowledge can be gained from them," she shares.

Alina also talked about how she got into the library sector and about her father-in-law and mother-in-law, emphasizing the advantages of living with her husband's relatives. "I came to the library thanks to my father-in-law, who was the school principal. He informed me about the vacancy, and just after getting married, I agreed to this job. My father-in-law is a candidate of sciences in geography and an “Excellence in Public Education” awardee with over 25 years of experience in schools."

Her mother-in-law is also a teacher who has worked for over 40 years, has won prizes in national competitions, and was the head of the methodological association of Kyrgyz philologists in the Issyk-Ata district. She has also been awarded the titles of "Model Teacher of the Kyrgyz Language" and "Model Family of the Issyk-Ata District," Alina noted.
