The Kara-Burgon Library will now bear the name of Shaarbübü Turdumambetova, a renowned public figure. According to a Turmush correspondent, this decision was made based on an initiative proposed by the late woman's grandson, Farhat Öskönbaev.

In the library where Shaarbübü worked for 12 years, the initiative received support from the local council deputies. As a result, her descendants provided the library with the necessary equipment for its operations, and a ceremonial event took place on January 5. Local authorities, residents, and relatives participated in the event.

Shaarbübü Turdumambetova was born in 1934 in the village of Osoaviakhim, which was part of the Lenin collective farm (now known as Cholok-Kaiyn). She graduated from Lenin Secondary School No. 1 and continued her education at the cultural and educational institution under the Ministry of Culture of the Kyrgyz SSR in Tokmok from 1966 to 1968.

From 1965 to 1972, she worked as a secretary in the village council of the Jengil collective farm, and from 1972 to 1984, she held the position of chief librarian at the Kara-Burgon Library, while also being elected as a deputy of the village council.

Shaarbübü, together with her husband Öskönbay Yklasov, raised five children, providing them with a good education and upbringing. She passed away in 2002 at the age of 68.
