The Jalal-Abad Regional Philharmonic named after Toktosun Tynibekov now has a new leader.
The director of the philharmonic is 48-year-old Nasirdin Tegin Asylbek Tölön uulu, who will be on probation for three months. The new appointment was announced on December 29, 2025 by the Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy, Soyuzbek Nadyrbekov.
Nasirdin Tegin Asylbek Tölön uulu was born on October 1, 1978, in Bishkek.
Education
- 1995 — Central Children's Music School named after P. Shubin, komuz class;
- 1998 — Music College named after M. Kerenkeeva;
- 2005 — Kyrgyz National Conservatory named after K. Moldobasanov;
- 2008–2010 — assistant intern at the Kyrgyz National Conservatory;
- 2022–2023 — studying opera-symphonic conducting (currently on academic leave).
Professional Experience
- 2005–2013 — head of the folk ensemble "Saamal" at the Bishkek City Drama Theater;
- 2014 — worked at the National Drama Theater named after T. Abdumomunov;
- 2013–2016 — artist of the folk collective "El yrchysy Estebes";
- 2014–2022 — senior lecturer at the Department of National Instruments of the Kyrgyz National Conservatory.
He is also the author of several musical works registered with Kyrgyzpatent, including "Uluu köch," "Chabarman," "Tokoy aralap," "Jomok," "Asanbaydyn elesi," "Biy," "Kerben," "Kyrgyz jol," "Balbal tün," "Zhalbyraktar sargayganda," "Sagyndym seni," "Zhenish," "Mekenim menin Kyrgyzstan," "Süyüu jazı," "Jorgolor," "Jarysh," "Bul dünö," "Küü mayram," and others.
Previously, the philharmonic was headed by Mukhtar Kyrbashov, who passed away in November last year after a long illness.
