According to information from the president's press service, Shumkarbek Adilbek uulu has been appointed as the director of the National Institute of Strategic Initiatives.
He was born on February 19, 1986, in Bishkek and is a graduate of the Bishkek Financial and Economic Academy.
He began his career in 2006 as a consultant at the financial company "Senti" and continued to develop his professional activities in the following roles:
- 2006-2007 — specialist and head of the internal audit service at OJSC "Entrepreneurship Development Fund";
- 2008 — assistant to a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh;
- 2008-2009 — financier at LLC "Creative Marketing";
- 2009-2010 — junior economist at JSC "Tolubai";
- 2010-2011 — director of the Kemin branch of OJSC "Entrepreneurship Development Fund";
- 2011-2012 — executive director at LLC IPF;
- 2012-2015 — chairman of the board at PS Group;
- 2015-2018 — deputy director at the Agency for Promotion and Protection of Investments of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- 2018-2020 — director at the Agency for Promotion and Protection of Investments of the Kyrgyz Republic;
- Since February 2021 — general director of LLC "AMT Invest".
