“We held 15 performances of the musical ‘Raymaly and Begimai’ in Bishkek, all of which had full houses. Recently, we also presented it in Moscow, where it generated great interest! Unfortunately, I could not attend the premiere, but my representatives at the event were the director of the philharmonic and my deputy, who returned with positive emotions,” noted the minister.
Additionally, Mirbek Mambetaliyev reported that the Toktogul Satylganov Philharmonic has begun work on a new project — the musical "Suymonkul," whose main character will be the famous Kyrgyz actor and artist Suymonkul Chokmorov. The Ministry of Culture has also allocated additional funds for this production.
“We intend to continue staging such performances and expanding our repertoire. One of the main tasks of our ministry is to bring audiences back to the theaters,” emphasized the head of the department.
