Turmush continues to share stories of Kyrgyzstani people who work, study, and live abroad.

Alyna Alimbai kyzy, born on March 25, 2002, in Bishkek, currently resides in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where she works as a manicure master.

Initially, she received her education at the Bishkek Medical College, specializing in obstetrics. However, by now, Alyna has drastically changed her career and chosen a path in the beauty industry, which was prompted by low incomes in the medical field.

In the field of manicure, she underwent special training in Bishkek and has two years of practical experience. Alyna got a job in Saudi Arabia on the advice of acquaintances and immediately started her work after a vacancy appeared.

Riyadh impresses with its modernity and dynamic development, where traditions coexist harmoniously with high technologies, and the level of safety and order is high.

Local residents are generally friendly and treat foreigners with respect, especially if they show respect for the culture and traditions of the country.

Comparing life in Saudi Arabia and Kyrgyzstan, Alyna noted the differences in mentality, pace of life, and attitude towards work. Everything here is strictly regulated, and she was amazed by the high level of service and the wide opportunities for professional realization.

According to Alyna, the work schedule differs from that in Kyrgyzstan:

“We start work not early in the morning, but from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and we work for 8 hours. The salon provides us with all the necessary materials, and we are only required to perform our duties.”

During her time working, she managed to achieve a significant result — she purchased an apartment in Kyrgyzstan on a mortgage. Although the payment is not yet complete, this is an important step forward for her.

She faced difficulties starting life in a new country without knowing English. At first, it was hard even to answer questions about her age, but now Alyna has already mastered the language.

During her work, she developed an allergy to alcohol and consulted dermatologists; she is currently continuing treatment.

Alyna noticed that there are not many Kyrgyzstani people in Riyadh. In the first six months, she did not meet any compatriots, but by the seventh month, she made acquaintances. Sometimes in the evenings or on weekends, she gathers with friends in Uyghur cafes.

In her free time, Alyna runs a blog, sharing her impressions.

In the future, she dreams of opening her own manicure school to teach girls this profession.
