According to information provided by the press service of the Osh City Internal Affairs Department, officers from the Ak-Buura Internal Affairs Department arrested a criminal group that threatened citizens in order to seize their money and valuable items.
It became known that on January 1, 2026, a young man born in 2002 from the Suzak district reported to the Osh City Internal Affairs Department that he had become a victim of robbery—his mobile phone, an “iPhone 15 Pro,” was taken from him under threat.
On the same day, another victim—a young man born in 2001 from the Nookat district—filed a similar report. He stated that around 11:00 PM, while driving his car in the Zhibek-Zholu (On-Adyr) microdistrict in Osh, an unfamiliar vehicle blocked his path. Three men got out of it, threatened him, and forced him to transfer 15,000 soms to their bank accounts via a mobile application.
During operational-search activities conducted by the police, the suspects, residents of the city of Osh, were arrested:
— M.Z., born in 2001,
— M.N., born in 2002,
— M.M., born in 2001.
All detainees have been placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation continues, and during the course of the inquiry, it has been established that this group may be involved in other similar crimes.
The Ak-Buura Internal Affairs Department of the Osh City Police urges citizens who have been victims of these individuals to contact law enforcement agencies.
