





In Bishkek, a meeting of the city hall board took place, during which the results of the socio-economic development of the capital for 2025 were reviewed and tasks for 2026 were defined. The event was chaired by Adylbek Kasymaliev, the chairman of the cabinet of ministers and head of the president's administration of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the city hall, the mayor of the city, Aibek Junushaliev, presented the key goals for the city hall for 2026.
He noted that Bishkek continues to develop, and the city faces new challenges that need to be overcome. "2026 should be a time of significant changes and improvements for our capital. We need to create a modern, beautiful, safe, and comfortable city that its residents can be proud of," the mayor added.
The main areas of work for the city hall in the coming year include:
- optimizing road infrastructure and reducing traffic congestion through the implementation of urban solutions;
- improving the quality of housing and communal services;
- constructing new social facilities;
- addressing issues of informal trade and chaotic construction, as well as ensuring social protection.
"Our main task is the development of the city and the creation of comfortable conditions for all its residents. I am confident that together we can implement ambitious projects that will make Bishkek a modern and convenient city to live in," concluded the mayor.
