Gas lines and 'red books' of citizens hinder the Bishkek city hall from paving Bakayev Street
The municipality is actively working to resolve the difficulties that have arisen
Abdyjaparkul Janbolotov, Deputy Director of the Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development, stated on "Birinchi Radio" that the construction of Bakayev Street will continue in 2026.
He noted that the main obstacles to completing the work are the need to relocate two gas lines, the construction of sewage systems, and the presence of "red books" held by citizens for certain plots of land.
“We are addressing these issues and conducting explanatory work. Some believe that this section is insignificant. However, we plan to extend it and connect it with Beyshenaliyev Street,” the official added.
