Kyrgyzstan and North Macedonia Sign Memorandum on Cultural Cooperation

A memorandum of cooperation has been signed between the Abdyla Maldybaev Kyrgyz National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet and the Estrada Multimedia Center from the city of Prilep, North Macedonia. This was reported by the Ministry of Culture.

According to the information, the agreement was signed by Muratbek Begaliev, the director of the theatre, and Marjan Katarovski, the director of the center.

The document includes plans for the development of opera, ballet, and choral arts, organization of tours, festivals, and joint performances. It also provides for the invitation of directors, conductors, soloists, as well as artists from choirs and orchestras to participate in joint projects. An important aspect of the agreement is the field of professional education, including the conduct of master classes, internships, and educational programs, professional development of specialists, and exchange of scientific publications and research, as stated in the press release.



This agreement aims to strengthen international creative ties, promote Kyrgyz opera and ballet arts on the world stage, and develop cultural diplomacy. The memorandum is valid for five years with the possibility of automatic renewal.
