Despite appeals to the city hall, residents have not yet received a response.
Local residents are worried that the new land designation may give developers the opportunity to pressure homeowners into selling their houses.
“Although our area is not considered a center and does not belong to microdistricts, its geographical location is attractive to developers.
People are satisfied with their homes and do not intend to sell them; on the contrary, many are investing in improving their plots. However, we know that construction companies have already begun to show interest in our area. For example, one of the representatives from the area reported that she was approached by employees of a construction company with an offer to sell her plot, claiming that they had already bought neighboring houses. After speaking with her neighbors, she found out that this was not true and refused the developers.
Now that our territory has unexpectedly become a zone for high-rise construction, we are afraid that developers will begin active operations in our area,” residents share their concerns.
They also express worry that the change in the status of the territory could lead to a "construction frenzy." If any construction company does buy a plot, it could result in the appearance of a high-rise building next to private homes, which would negatively affect the engineering communications of the entire area.
Residents are calling on the city hall to reconsider this decision.
We, the residents, appeal to the city hall with a request to exclude our area from the high-rise construction zone and restore the status of individual residential development that existed until December 25, 2025.
