The head of Mongolian Buddhism and the Hambo Lama gave a lecture at Kensington Town Hall in London

Javzandorj Dulamragchaa, the abbot of the Gandantegchenlin Monastery, which is the center of Mongolian Buddhism, is visiting the United Kingdom. This was reported by MiddleAsianNews.

Last week, on Friday, he held a lecture and open discussion at Kensington Town Hall, where scholars, researchers from universities, representatives of foreign embassies, and Mongolians living in the UK gathered.


This event was organized by the Mongolian Buddhist Center in the UK with the support of the Embassy of Mongolia, as well as G-Studio, Azaa Studio, and Mongolia's cultural envoy, Ms. Önörmaa Janchiv.


A year ago, Hambo Lama Javzandorj Dulamragchaa visited Italy, where he gave lectures for Mongolians living in the country and spoke at venues such as the MAXXI Museum in Rome, the East Asian Library of Sapienza University, the National Library, and the Institute of Asian and African Studies at Ca' Foscari University in Venice. He also met with the Pope.
