Spouses from the Jeti-Oguz district are successfully engaged in the production of organic fertilizers.

Azim Kaliev and Gulzat Stamgalieva organized the production of biohumus, which has become a source of stable income for their family, which has four children. Previously, they received the "Uiy-bulogo komok" allowance for two children. In 2024, the family participated in the "Social Contract" program, within which they were provided with 100,000 soms to start their production.

Currently, the fertilizer production business is located in warehouse premises on the outskirts of Zhalgyz-Oruk. The spouses report that their annual income from the sale of biohumus is about 200,000 soms. With this money, they were able to plant 16,000 strawberry seedlings on a plot of 38 acres. The farmers' products are sold in packages, and they have signed contracts with flower shops in the region. Their near-term plans include launching the production of liquid fertilizers.

Gulbara Zhaambaeva, head of the district labor, social security, and migration department, noted that from 2022 to 2025, 811 people are participating in the "Social Contract" project. "Since our district has an agricultural focus, most initiatives are related to livestock, crop farming, gardening, beekeeping, and biohumus production, as well as folk crafts and various services. Work in these areas is developing successfully, and we can be proud of the results achieved," she said.

After receiving funds, project participants receive support from department staff: they are accompanied to markets for purchasing necessary equipment, assisted with document processing, and undergo regular monitoring. This requires significant effort, but hardworking families are quickly developing. For example, some of them are engaged in fattening sheep, increasing their herd size, and improving breeds, including breeding Arashan sheep. New jobs are also being created, and modern services such as makeup and manicure are being introduced in new hair salons.

In the village of Kyzyl-Suu, one of the project participants acquired an embroidery machine and materials, allowing him to start embroidering portraits of famous personalities. His works, including portraits of Zheti-Ake and other historical figures, are already decorating museums, and he plans to expand his business in the tourist center of Karakol.

Additionally, to support businesses, participants in the "Social Contract" were provided access to interest-free loans of up to 200,000 soms. These funds are allocated without collateral, significantly easing the start of new ventures," she added.
