On January 27, a meeting took place in Bishkek between the Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mederbek Tumano, and his Georgian counterpart, Alexander Kvtisiashvili, who holds the position of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
During this meeting, the parties discussed a number of significant issues, including preparations for the upcoming meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Georgia, as well as the prospects for opening direct air communication and strengthening cooperation in the field of tourism and transport logistics.
As a result of the discussions, the participants agreed on the need for further steps to implement the agreements reached.
