The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan (DUMK) officially announced the date of the sacred night of Qadr.

According to official information from the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan (DUMK), the sacred Night of Decree in 2026 will take place from March 16 to March 17. This event is typically observed between the 26th and 27th days of the month of Ramadan, according to the Islamic calendar.

The Night of Qadr is the time when the Prophet Muhammad received the first divine revelation. The religious significance of this night is such that sincere prayers offered during this period are equivalent to eighty-three years of continuous worship. During this sacred night, believers gather in mosques and homes to read the Quran, repent for their sins, and ask for forgiveness and blessings for the coming year.

For Muslims in Kyrgyzstan, this event is an important milestone in the concluding decade of Ramadan. On the night of March 16 to 17, a large gathering of congregants is expected in the mosques of the country for joint prayers and spiritual communication in anticipation of the holiday.
