In Bishkek, in honor of the holiday of Orozo Ait, public transportation on buses of routes No. 38 and No. 203 will be free. This decision was announced by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan. The event will take place on March 20, and as part of the mufti's initiative, about 50 buses will operate for free from 05:00 to 12:00.
The main goal of this campaign is to create a festive atmosphere for the residents and guests of the city who will come for the Ait prayer, as well as to emphasize the spiritual traditions of this sacred holiday.
The Ait prayer in Bishkek will be held at the Old Square named after Turdakun Usubaliev on March 20.
Schedule of events for the Ait prayer (Bishkek):
07:00 – 07:30 — reading of the Quran;
07:30 – 07:40 — moderation by Shukur Ismailov;
07:40 – 08:10 — speeches (Joldoshbek Abdildaev, Bakyt Kaykiev);
08:10 – 08:30 — words from the mufti about the order and rules of conducting the prayer;
08:20 – 08:30 — lining up;
08:30 – 08:50 — conducting the Ait prayer and festive prayer.
In other regions of the country, the Ait prayer will take place in mosques.
General program in the regions:
07:30 – 08:00 — reading of the Quran;
08:00 – 08:25 — religious speeches;
08:25 – 08:30 — explanation of the order of conducting the prayer;
08:30 — the Ait prayer itself.
It is worth noting that in mountainous areas, the timing may vary slightly.
