
One of the key topics of this event is determining the start of Ramadan and the date of the Orozо Ait holiday. Participants are actively discussing various methodological approaches and sharing their theological opinions on these issues.
The meeting is organized by the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Uzbekistan. Members of the Fatwa Committee, as well as leading Islamic scholars and heads of religious institutions from Turkic countries, are participating in the event. Kyrgyzstan is represented by Abibilla Azhy Kadyrberdiev, head of the information support department of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of the Kyrgyz Republic, and specialist Bayastan Marat uulu.

During the opening of the meeting, the Deputy Chairman of the Spiritual Administration of Uzbekistan, Zainiddin Eshonkulov, emphasized the historical and spiritual significance of Samarkand as an important center of the Islamic world and one of the hubs of the Great Silk Road.
Dr. Mirvohid Azimov, Deputy Secretary-General of the Turkic Council, noted the symbolism of holding the meeting in this city, emphasizing that the work of the Fatwa Council is aimed at strengthening spiritual unity and developing cooperation on religious issues among Turkic states.
In addition to calendar-related issues, participants are also analyzing current aspects of Islamic law, including "ushr" in agriculture and the impact of production costs on this topic.
They are also considering the possibilities and limitations of using artificial intelligence in the process of issuing and receiving fatwas.
We remind you that last year, the VI summit of the chairmen of the spiritual administrations of the member countries of the Turkic Council was held for the first time in Kyrgyzstan.
