The forum has gathered Islamic scholars and official delegates from more than 30 countries, including regions from Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The conference opened with a recitation of the Quran, followed by speeches from figures such as the Minister of Awqaf and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs Dr. Usama al-Azhari, Deputy Sheikh of Al-Azhar Dr. Muhammad Abd al-Rahman al-Duwaini, and the Grand Mufti of Egypt Dr. Nazir Muhammad Iyad. Ministers of religious affairs from Palestine, Bahrain, Jordan, Oman, and Djibouti were also present.
Kyrgyzstan is represented at the conference by Abduaziz Azhy Tutashpaev, an employee of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims. He conveyed greetings from the Mufti and the Muslims of Kyrgyzstan and delivered a report discussing the role of artificial intelligence in the Islamic worldview. Tutashpaev noted that Islamic civilization is based on reason and moral values, emphasizing the importance of human dignity in the context of technological development.
The conference includes scientific sessions, workshops, and panel discussions covering key topics such as the Islamic history of professions, ethical aspects of artificial intelligence, plagiarism, inter-civilizational integration, and entrepreneurial issues.
The main objective of the forum is to strengthen the exchange of experiences among Islamic scholars from different regions, including the Balkans, as well as to discuss the possibilities of coexistence and the development of traditional Islamic values in the face of rapid technological changes.
