According to information from the press service of the Traffic Safety Department of the Chui Region's Interior Ministry, on January 7, starting in the evening, dense fog enveloped the Bishkek–Kara-Balta highway. "The fog formed as a result of a sharp deterioration in weather conditions and a drop in air temperature. Drivers should be especially attentive," noted representatives of the press service.
In addition, the traffic safety department of the Moscow district urged drivers to exercise caution in foggy conditions. "We recommend taking precautions: do not exceed the established speed limit, maintain a safe distance, avoid crossing into oncoming traffic, and strictly adhere to traffic rules," the Traffic Safety Department reported.
