Flight delays from Almaty, operated on Airbus A320neo, are caused by adverse weather conditions, according to information from Air Astana.
Earlier, on the night of January 3 to 4, the airline had already reported delays in departures due to restrictions related to freezing fog and visibility of less than 150 meters.
As of January 4, there are ongoing rotational delays of flights and changes in the schedule, which are also related to unfavorable weather conditions in Astana.
To address the issue, Air Astana is bringing in a backup aircraft from FlyArystan, as reported by the company's press service.
