Due to heavy snowfall in several regions of Turkey, Turkish Airlines was forced to cancel over 60 flights. This information was announced by the company's representative, Yahya Ustun.

According to him, "61 flights scheduled for December 31 have been canceled due to worsening weather conditions in the central and eastern parts of the country," he wrote on the social network X.

It is worth noting that since December 26, most of Turkey has been affected by frosts caused by cold air flows from Russia and Iceland. The Turkish General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning for most regions of the country on Wednesday due to expected heavy snowfall.
