Thanks to a recent acquisition, Hunnu Air now has two new E195-E2 aircraft. Additionally, on December 25, 2025, the airline successfully completed its first flight on the Ulaanbaatar — Manila route.

In 2025, Hunnu Air operated international routes to 39 destinations in nine countries, including South Korea, India (Delhi and Amritsar), Vietnam (Nha Trang, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc), the Philippines (Manila), China (Beijing), and Uzbekistan (Tashkent).

The E195-E2 is a modern medium-haul aircraft designed to provide maximum passenger comfort and minimal environmental impact. It features reduced noise levels and a 20% decrease in carbon dioxide emissions and fuel consumption compared to similar models. The new aircraft immediately began flights between Ulaanbaatar and Phu Quoc.

With the arrival of the new E195-E2, Hunnu Air has significantly enhanced its capabilities in regional transportation, which will positively impact the aviation sector of the country.

In Mongolia, the E195-E2 model represents an important step forward for local aviation, as the first aircraft of this generation began operations on regional routes, including destinations in China, which will significantly improve transportation accessibility and contribute to the development of both the airline and the country as a whole. Hunnu Air received its first E195-E2 in early 2025 and is actively integrating these aircraft into its fleet.

The E195-E2 aircraft meets the strictest international noise standards, with its noise level being 76% lower than that of narrow-body models from previous generations.

The use of 30 such aircraft will reduce CO2 emissions by 165,000 metric tons per year, which is equivalent to 279,000 people switching from their cars to bicycles for their commutes.

Compared to the new Airbus A220-300, 30 E2 aircraft provide a reduction in CO2 emissions of 45,000 metric tons per year, which would require planting 405 football fields worth of trees to offset that amount of carbon.

The E2 features the lowest fuel consumption per seat and per flight among aircraft accommodating 120-150 passengers.
