On January 17, a master class dedicated to sewing and embroidery of the beldemchi will take place at the National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev. The event will be led by Turar Turganaly, a member of the Union of Artists and an experienced craftswoman, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture.

The beldemchi is a traditional skirt or shawl with a wide belt, which is an important element of the Kyrgyz women's national costume. This item is worn over a dress or a kamzol and symbolizes femininity, dignity, protection from the cold, and a connection to the cultural heritage of the people. It is made from velvet, silk, and other fabrics, as well as embroidery that has deep symbolic meaning.

Participants of the master class need to bring materials with them: fabric (velvet or corduroy) measuring 1m by 1.5m, as well as tools such as embroidery threads, needles, and scissors.
