On January 16, the National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev will host the opening of a solo exhibition by artist Ilgiz Edilson titled "Anatomy of Human Emotions." This was reported in a press release from the Ministry of Culture.

The exhibition invites viewers to delve into the exploration of emotional experience through color palette, form, and spatial design. Four color environments reflecting various emotional states—from joy and trust to fear, anxiety, and determination—create a cohesive journey through the inner world of a person.

The structure of the exhibition resembles a labyrinth of feelings, where each turn reveals new aspects of human experience: from vibrant delight to quiet solitude. Paintings and sculptures form the architecture of emotions, where each element creates a unified emotional system. This journey into the world of feelings becomes an opportunity to return to the true "self."

Ilgiz Edilson is a contemporary artist who lives and works in Bishkek. For over ten years, he has actively explored emotional intelligence, the nature of human emotions, and behavioral patterns, existing at the intersection of art, psychology, and neurobiology. His works are based on data from neuroscience, behavioral psychology, and psychosomatics. Using an abstract visual language, the artist seeks to convey subtle and often difficult-to-describe states—from tension and vulnerability to trust, fear, and the impulse to act.

The exhibition will be open to visitors until February 1.
