From January 16 to February 1, the National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev will host a solo exhibition by artist Ilgiz Edilson titled "Anatomy of Human Emotions." This was announced by the event organizers, who shared the information with 24.kg.

In his work, Edilson explores how human emotional experiences can be conveyed through color, form, and spatial compositions. According to the organizers, the exhibition represents a "labyrinth of feelings," where four color environments reflect dozens of different emotional states—from joy and trust to anxiety, fear, and determination.
“Every turn in this labyrinth reveals new facets of human experience, from vibrant delight to the intimate silence of solitude. The paintings and sculptures form an architecture of emotions, where each element becomes part of a unified system. This journey into the world of feelings allows one to return to the true 'self,'” the organizers add.

Ilgiz Edilson is a contemporary artist living and working in Bishkek. For over ten years, he has been exploring issues of emotional intelligence and human emotions, standing at the intersection of art, psychology, and neurobiology.

His works are based on the principles of neuroscience and behavioral psychology, as well as psychosomatics. Using an abstract visual language, Edilson aims to convey states that are difficult to verbalize, such as tension, vulnerability, trust, and the impulse to act.

The exhibition opens its doors to visitors on January 16 and will be available until February 1.
