The resolution No. 134, signed on February 25, 2026, stipulates that the collected funds will be used for the maintenance and operation of tunnels on strategic highways, including Bishkek — Osh and the alternative north-south road.
The toll amount for local drivers and citizens of the Eurasian Economic Union countries will vary depending on the type of vehicle and route.
Tolls for the main southern highway:
- 50 soms — passenger cars (category M1);
- 100 soms — minibuses (M2) and light trucks up to 3.5 tons (N1, T5);
- 150 soms — buses (M3) and trucks weighing from 3.5 to 12 tons (N2);
- 250 soms — heavy trucks over 12 tons (N3);
- 500 soms — specialized equipment, combines, and oversized vehicles with trailers.
Tolls on the alternative north-south road:
- 100 soms — passenger cars;
- 250 soms — vehicles of categories M2, N1, and T5;
- 500 soms — buses and trucks (M3, N2);
- 700 soms — heavy trucks (N3);
- 1,000 soms — vehicles with trailers, combines, and oversized tractors.
Unified tariffs for foreign vehicles:
- 200 soms — passenger cars;
- 1,000 soms — minibuses and light trucks;
- 1,500 soms — vehicles weighing from 3.5 to 12 tons;
- 3,000 soms — heavy trucks over 12 tons;
- 5,000 soms — specialized equipment and oversized trailers.
The introduction of tolls for passage through the tunnels will ensure stable funding for their safe maintenance and operation on key transport routes in the country.
