The incident took place on January 16 at around 8:00 PM.
According to preliminary data, a "Li 9" vehicle with the number 06 KG 666 was traveling westward. After passing a speed bump near the Kök-Tokoy school, the driver accelerated. At that moment, a "Honda Stream" was moving from west to east and began to maneuver for an overtaking, which led to a head-on collision — the "Li 9" crossed into the oncoming lane.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the "Honda Stream" and his passenger died. Four people in the back seat were injured and hospitalized.
