Nursultan Keneshbekov won two medals at the Asian Championship

At the Asian Indoor Athletics Championships held in the Chinese city of Tianjin from February 6 to 8, Nursultan Keneshbekov from Kyrgyzstan demonstrated excellent results, winning two medals.

As part of the Kyrgyzstan team, coached by Satybek Chokaev, five athletes competed, and all the medals were won by Nursultan Keneshbekov.

On February 6, in the preliminary heats of the 1500 meters, the Kyrgyz athlete finished first in his heat, clocking a time of 3 minutes 50 seconds, which secured him a spot in the final with the best result among all participants.

On February 7, Nursultan participated in the final of the 3000 meters, where he finished in second place with a time of 7 minutes 55.06 seconds, thus winning a silver medal.

On the final day of the competition, February 8, Keneshbekov again competed in the 1500 meters, where he finished second once more, adding another silver medal to his collection. His time was 3 minutes 44.75 seconds, which was one second more than the winner from Qatar.
