According to the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, Nursultan Keneshbekov won a silver medal at the Asian Championship. The competitions took place from February 6 to 8 in Tianjin, China, where athletes from Kyrgyzstan demonstrated good results.
On the first day of the championship, Iskender Chokaev competed in the 800 meters, finishing with a time of 1 minute 56.83 seconds and taking 10th place. Ruslan Litovsky also participated in the 400 meters and finished 14th with a time of 49.57 seconds.
On the second day, Nursultan Keneshbekov became the silver medalist in the 3000 meters, showing a time of 7 minutes 55.06 seconds. In the same discipline, Jusup Sulayman uulu took 5th place with a time of 8 minutes 23.71 seconds.
Thus, based on the results of the second day of the competition, Nursultan Keneshbekov was awarded the silver medal of the Asian Championship.
