This season, 16 teams will compete in the Higher League, playing matches in two rounds — on their own and opponents' fields. Eight games are scheduled each week.
The first match of the new season will take place between the teams "Ilbirs" from Bishkek and "Alai" from Osh. The meeting will be held on March 1 at the stadium of the National Academy of Football of the Kyrgyz Football Union.
