“We are ready to consider proposals for holding a match with Russia. At the moment, no one has contacted us regarding games. We hope that we can hold a meeting with them this year, possibly in June, as we would like to play at our home stadium in Bishkek,” he added.
It is worth recalling that in February 2022, the Russian national team, including the youth team, was suspended from participating in tournaments by the International Football Federation (FIFA) and the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). As a result, Russian clubs lost the opportunity to compete in the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League, which means that the Russian national team can currently only play friendly matches.
