Pickford purchased a mansion for £5.7 million, where members of the royal family stayed

Jordan Pickford, the goalkeeper for the England national team and Everton club, has become the new owner of a historic Georgian mansion in Cheshire, for which he paid £5.7 million. This house has hosted such notable guests over the years as Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, and the current King Charles III.

The deal was completed in April 2022, when the footballer, along with his wife Megan Davison, purchased the estate, which was previously owned by businessman Sebastian de Ferranti.

Built in 1860, the mansion sits on a plot of nearly 2.5 acres and offers eight bedrooms, a grand hall, a magnificent staircase, a neoclassical portico, as well as an indoor swimming pool and a garage for four cars.

This purchase marks a significant step forward for Pickford, as his previous home in Cheshire was bought in 2018 for £2.1 million.

Currently, the 31-year-old goalkeeper reportedly earns around £150,000 a week at Everton and is the starting goalkeeper for the England national team, having played 81 matches for the national squad.
