In response, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture Bakyt Torobaev explained that previously, dairy plants adhered to a unified tariff for the purchase of raw milk.
“For example, everyone paid 35 soms per liter. However, it was later decided that the price for the raw material would depend on its fat content,” he added.
According to Torobaev, one of the dairy plants purchases milk at a price of 49.35 soms per liter if the fat content is 4.2%. At the same time, the minimum price is set at 33.82 soms per liter with a fat content of 3%.
Additionally, he mentioned another plant that offers 51.68 soms per liter with a fat content of 4.1% and 36.47 soms with a fat content of 3%.
“Each dairy plant has its own table with data on purchase prices,” he noted.
The meeting also discussed information from the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic regarding preparations for spring fieldwork and agricultural activities in 2026 in the country.
