She noted that this situation discourages young specialists from working in this field.
Furthermore, the deputy emphasized the importance of increasing the level of animal vaccination.
In response to this statement, Bakyt Torobaev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Agriculture, assured that work on vaccination is ongoing.
“I agree that there are not enough young veterinarians. Currently, we are making efforts to attract new personnel, including addressing salary increases for Veterinary Service employees,” he said.
During the meeting, information from the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic was also reviewed regarding preparations for spring field and economic activities in 2026 in the country.
