Inspectors of the agency issued 355 phytosanitary certificates for the shipment of wood outside the country. In the first month of 2026, the largest share of Tomsk timber products was sent to Uzbekistan — 55%. The list of importing countries also included China (19%), Kyrgyzstan (9%), Kazakhstan (7%), Tajikistan (6%), while 4% of the products were sent to Afghanistan and Vietnam.
Additionally, more than 1.1 thousand tons of goods, such as ice cream sticks, boards, and veneer produced in the Tomsk region, were exported to China. Kazakhstan received 275 units of wooden packaging.
The Rosselkhoznadzor noted that each batch of timber products underwent certification to confirm their phytosanitary condition. The research was conducted at the Tomsk branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "VNIIKR," which is subordinate to the Rosselkhoznadzor.
