According to the new decree, it is planned to allocate land plots with a total area of 350 hectares, located in the Alamudun district of Chui region and the city of Bishkek.
Furthermore, the decree includes the following important changes:
- point 3 of the previous version of the document has been canceled;
- the cluster's objectives have been clarified, emphasizing the development of agriculture through the implementation of innovative solutions and advanced agro-technologies, including the experience of the Republic of Korea;
- the functions of the Bishkek city administration and the Alamudun district administration have been expanded, which are required to ensure the transformation of land and facilitate the creation of necessary production sites and infrastructure, including electricity, water supply, sewage, and access roads.
The updated decree also notes that the cluster will operate as a multifunctional platform, which will include zones for processing agricultural products, greenhouse farms, "smart farms," research and testing laboratories, as well as infrastructure for storage and logistics.
The decree comes into effect 7 days after its official publication.
