According to NIA data, from 2022 to 2024, 35 complaints were received, and in 2025, 24 appeals were registered over 12 months, including 2 complaints that were carried over from 2024.
The agency also reported that it provided support to investors on various issues, including:
- actions of tax authorities, such as tax reassessments;
- refusals by local authorities to issue or extend land plots;
- illegal inspections by law enforcement agencies and other situations.
Furthermore, NIA emphasized that it provides legal consultations and clarifications of legislative norms, as well as conducts expertise of investment agreements and individual legal acts related to investment activities.
On May 12, 2025, according to the agency, NIA was integrated into the automated information system of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic called the "Investor Complaints Register."
