The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry in Kyrgyzstan is launching an initiative to modernize and update equipment for farmers, aimed at improving the machinery and tractor fleet.
Since 2011, with the support of the Cabinet of Ministers and the efforts of the ministry, 7 leasing programs have been implemented through OJSC "Aiyl Bank" and "Eldik Bank".
These programs offer farmers the opportunity to lease agricultural machinery and processing equipment for 7 years at a fixed interest rate of 6% per year.
To date, thanks to government support, farmers have received 9,863 units of equipment worth 27.9 billion soms, including 2,853 units worth 9.8 billion soms received in 2025.
The ongoing activities contribute to improving the quality of mechanized services and the development of agriculture in the country.
