International Quality Standards Implemented in 56 Agricultural Enterprises in the Kyrgyz Republic

According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture, by the end of 2025, significant progress will be achieved in areas such as cooperation, processing, logistics, and mechanization.

It is noted that agricultural infrastructure is actively developing, production volumes are increasing, and new jobs are being created.

“As of today, there are 483 processing enterprises operating in the country, of which 39 were opened in 2025. This year, 61 small enterprises have also been registered out of 5,200 active ones. Logistics continues to develop, including 40 trade and logistics centers, 264 vegetable storage facilities, and 115 livestock slaughter points,” the press release states.
Significant attention is paid to product quality: international standards have been successfully implemented at 56 enterprises. In rural areas, cooperation is actively developing, with 821 agricultural cooperatives, 68 of which were established this year.
“Significant support is being provided in the field of agricultural mechanization: 9,079 units of agricultural machinery have been leased for a total of 25.2 billion soms. There are 186 mechanized tractor stations operating in the country (state, municipal, and private). All these measures have led to the creation of 31,276 jobs, including 1,264 new ones,” the Ministry of Agriculture emphasizes.
