According to information from the press service of the State Tax Service (GNS), it was initially planned to collect 343 billion soms in taxes and insurance contributions. However, actual revenues amounted to 389 billion soms, which is 46.5 billion soms or 13.5% more than planned.
Compared to the previous year, there was an increase in revenues of 87.5 billion soms, corresponding to a growth rate of 28.9%. These results set a historical record.
“The overall tax plan was 268 billion soms. We have only 2-3 days left, and according to our estimates, we will be able to meet the plan within 307-308 billion soms, which is 40 billion soms more than the established target. Thus, the excess compared to last year will be about 79 billion soms,” said the head of the GNS.
The press release emphasizes that Almambet Shykmamatov expressed confidence that next year the agency intends to set new records. He noted that they have all the necessary conditions to achieve this goal — potential, experience, as well as new rules, mechanisms, digitalization, analytics, and modern methods that will be implemented in the coming year.
