The price of platinum exceeded $2,900

On the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), the price of platinum futures set a historical record, surpassing the $2,900 mark, according to trading data.

As of 13:44 Moscow time, the price of the April 2026 platinum futures rose by 5.92%, reaching $2,903.5 per troy ounce. At the same time, the March 2026 palladium futures increased by 6.38%, amounting to $2,157.1 per troy ounce.

Previously, gold and silver futures also reached historical highs, exceeding $5,100 and $110 per troy ounce, respectively.
