The Ministry of Digital Development and Innovative Technologies of the Kyrgyz Republic has been designated as the authorized body for the implementation of this agreement.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan has been instructed to notify Kazakhstan about the completion of the necessary domestic procedures for the agreement to come into force.
The purpose of the agreement is to prevent mutual interference and to coordinate radio frequency allocations in the range of 29.7 MHz and above in the border territories of both countries.
The following elements are subject to coordination:
- Ground radio services located in border areas;
- Individual radio stations outside these areas that may cause interference to neighboring stations;
- If necessary, receiving stations in border territories to protect against interference.
