On February 12, the final meeting of the Bishkek city hall took place, dedicated to the socio-economic development of the city in 2025 and plans for 2026. The event was chaired by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev.
During the meeting, a decision was announced to create modern irrigation systems that will ensure the full growth of new saplings. It is also planned to develop walking areas along the Bishkek-Chui Canal (БЧК) and the Ala-Archa River.
The city hall's plans also include:
- organizing a nursery on an additional area of 48 hectares;
- building 5 modern greenhouses with a total area of 9,600 square meters;
- purchasing 50,000 saplings;
- laying 21 kilometers of irrigation pipelines and installing over 5 kilometers of irrigation networks;
- continuing work on cleaning the riverbeds of the Alamudun and Ala-Archa rivers.
