From January 15 to 18, precipitation is expected in the mountainous regions of the country, which may lead to avalanches, snow drifts, snow accumulation, and ice formation. This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).

Avalanches may occur on the following sections of the roads:

- 121-138 km of the Bishkek—Osh road (Töö-Ashuu pass) and 198-255 km (Ala-Bel pass, Chychkan gorge);

- 68-74 and 86-101 km of the Ala-Buka—Kanysh-Kiya road (Chapchyma pass);

- 0-3 km of the Krasnaya Gorka—Ak-Tash road;

- 65-110 km of the Myrza-Ake—Kara-Kulja—Alaykuu road;

- 45-90 km of the Karakol—Enilchek road (Chong-Ashuu pass);

- 326-349 km of the Balikchy—Kazar-man—Jalal-Abad road (Kok-Art pass).

The MES recommends that drivers maintain a distance of 500 meters between vehicles on the specified sections.
